I recently started searching for a good Vega Protein and Greens review but I realized that there wasn’t many out there.
The Vega reviews that are out there unfortunately aren’t that great. It seems as though most of them are basically the exact same thing, just worded differently.
I wanted to make sure this was a little different and a bit longer than the rest of the review.

They don’t add unnecessary ingredients just to make their protein look fancy.

Vega Protein & Greens is not your regular protein shake!
On top of 20g of protein, Vega actually throws in a ton of healthy veggies and greens to add effortless nutrition to your diet.
It’s basically a protein supplement that gives you the best of both worlds.
This protein is made to replace your current morning or post-workout protein shake while providing essential nutrients found in vegetable.
Like most protein supplements, Vega Protein and Greens can be mixed with water, almond milk, or any drink you prefer.

- Organic Kale Powder – essential source of vitamins A and C
- Organic Alfalfa Grass Powder – high in micronutrients, chlorophyll, calcium, iron, zinc, potassium, and vitamins A, E, and K as well as B vitamins

Like i mentioned before this is not your normal protein powder!
Vega has an excellent job making sure their Protein & Greens helps improve your digestive system and make you feel better overall.
Normally when you’re looking for specific supplements you’re only looking for that and tend not to care about other ingredients.
If I want protein I don’t look for one that also has BCAAs or probiotics, I only pay attention to the protein.
However, this is where Vega makes you do a double take!
“Protein and greens?.. WAIT.. GREENS? What is this!”
It peaks your interest and then you realize there’s more to this than just protein.
Aside from protein, most supplements tend to offer very little when it comes to actual nutrition.
Our take is simple!
You’re going to take your protein anyways so why not get a product with tons of other nutritional benefits?

Do you remember the first time you took protein?
You were so pumped and excited about it that you immediately threw it into your workout bottle, shook it up and down like a shake weight and try to chug it like you were Rocky Balboa?
Then half way through you notice it start to get lumpy and you end up gagging?
YEAH! That right there is one of the worst things about some protein powders.When you try to mix it you’re left with a chunky mess rather than a smooth drink.
This issue tends to be more common in cheaper protein but thankfully Vega Protein & Greens doesn’t have this problem.
I’ve read a lot about this and apparently the price isn’t necessary directly because of Vega.
The issue is that the ingredients used in plant-based proteins are less common, which means the powders are more expensive.
Personally, I think the price is pretty good for this product.
It may be a few bucks more expensive but you have to keep in mind that this supplements offers you more than just protein.
If you compare it most protein supplements you may find yourself being perfectly fine paying a little more money for a luxury protein.
Most people are use to the body building protein supplements with higher protein that’s filled with creatine or BCAAs compared to being filled with greens.
This is perfectly fine because everyone has their own needs and goals so it’s best to find a supplements that aligns well with what you’re trying to do
However, after completing my Vega Protein and Greens review I have to say I would high recommend it!
it’s a protein that not only helps you build muscle and stay lean with 20g of protein it’s ALSO packed with so many healthy ingredients to make you feel amazing.
It’s obviously perfect for a Vegan diet but can also be paired well with Intermittent Fasting, the Paleo diet, the Keto Diet etc etc.
No supplement in the world is perfect, the Protein and Greens does have a some cons but the pros definitely outweigh everything else.

Our favorite way to take our protein and greens?
Through a smoothie of course!
We absolutely love smoothies, but how about an extra healthy smoothie?
Here are the ingredients:
- Most flavors will work but topical, berry or vanilla are preferred
- Non-dairy beverage/milk
- Lime juice
- Frozen raspberries – 1 cup or more if you want better flavor
- One Ripe banana
Once you have gathered your ingredients, blend them and then enjoy a pretty great tasting smoothie!

- Vega Protein and Greens (Vanilla flavor works best for this recipe)
- Rolled oats
- Almond milk
- Raw chocolate chips
After getting all your ingredients ready, simply mix them together and bake the mix at 375 for fifteen minutes.
