I highly recommend sticking with a 1/2 scoop because this protein is a bit high in carbs if you use a full scoop.
Now, if you’re paying close attention to your macros and you can manage the high carb content with this protein then feel free to use a full scoop.

Like the name states it’s completely ZERO carbs which makes it completely Keto friendly.
It’s made completely of premium whey protein isolate. Whey tends to be the leading favorite in the different kinds of protein for it’s overall effectiveness.
Isopure also decided to go a little more healthier with this protein by making it gluten, lactose and sugar free

Isopure is a brand that has proven to be trustworthy in the fitness world. You can never go wrong with any of their supplements.
Their zero carb protein supplement holds true to that statement.
However, this is a review for keto friendly protein powder. It’s a great source of protein and since it’s zero carbs it’s definitely a great supplement if you’re doing keto.
Isopure Zero Carb has almost as much protein as the Vega Sport but it’s a more cleaner supplement as it doesn’t contain any other unnecessary ingredients (i.e. probiotics, BCAAs, and Glutamine)
However, where this product falls a little short is the fat being zero. You should be getting all of your healthy fats from your food but it is nice to have a supplement that gives you a few extra grams of fat as well.

Quest is a brand that started off with protein bars that people loved because they tasted delicious.
With their rapid growth and popularity they decided to jump into the world or protein supplements.
Luckily, they stuck to their guns and came out with a protein that not only gives you 23g of protein per serving but also taste really good!
Their protein is a nice blend of casein and whey protein giving you the best of both worlds. Plus Quest offers a variety of flavors to make sure you find your favorite

Quest is a great choice for protein if you want to do keto.
It’s also great for beginners because Quest products tend to be all about flavor. Unlike other supplements you won’t get the overpowering aftertaste of protein.
The only downside is the 4g of carbs. Since this seems to be more popular with beginners you’ll need to make sure you’re keeping track of your carb intake or you might just go overboard
Overall, I like quest because they keep it simple and don’t feel the need to add unnecessary ingredients. If you choose this product then you’ll get a clean blend of casein and whey protein

Usually when it comes to reviews of protein, Optimum Nutrition tends to be higher up on the list.
Not only is a well known brand in the fitness world but their products are top of line in quality and results.
However, this article is specifically about protein power for a keto diet which puts ON lower on the list.
Their Hydrowhey is great and PACKED with 30g of protein but it also has 4g of carbs.
4g of carbs isn’t too bad as long as you keep track of the rest of the carbs you eat throughout the day. You don’t want this protein to be the reason you can’t reach ketosis
Overall, Optimum Nutrition’s Hydrowhey is great and can definitely work well for a keto diet.
Just keep in mind that personally, I don’t think the average person on Keto should get this specific protein. I believe it’s better suited for those who are more active and focused on putting on muscle
My Personal Recommendation
Okay so you’ve read through my entire list of the best keto protein powder and now you’re wondering, “well, which one would you buy Bryan?”
I’ve honestly bought and tried all the protein powders on this list. Optimum Nutrition is a brand I always go with but until recently I’ve been leaning towards the Vega Sport because of the extra health benefits.
However, this is for a keto diet so my recommendation to you will be to choose between the Keto Collagen by Perfect Keto or Vega Sport.
If you’re just starting the keto diet then maybe Keto Collagen will work better for you.
If you’re already use to the keto diet and working out then Vega Sport will probably be your best bet.
